Dear applicants:

The online Chinese visa processing mode will be officially launched on June 23 to further improve the efficiency of visa applications and optimise the service process. After that, applicants of all types of visas (applicants for official visas, please consult the relevant embassies and consulates) must fill out the application form online and upload the application materials. After the online review is passed, they can go to the visa center to submit their passports and other relevant materials.

1. Special reminder

After the online processing mode is activated, application forms before June 23 will no longer be available. Suggestions:

(1) Before the visa center closes at 14:30 on June 20, you must submit the online application form and other materials to the visa center.

(2) During June 21 and June 22, please postpone filling in the application form online to avoid information loss.

2. After the online processing mode is activated, the visa application process is as follows:

(1) Prepare application materials, including basic materials and other materials. Please log in to the visa center website https://bio.visaforchina.cn for details.

(2) Fill in the application form online and upload the required application materials according to the visa type. After completion, wait for the online review result.

(3) During the online review period, the Consulate General or the Visa Application Center may provide applicants with the latest application requirements via email at any time. Please continue to pay attention to relevant emails and log on to the Visa Application Center website https://bio.visaforchina.cn in time to learn about the application progress.

(4) When the application status on the Visa Center website shows "Approved" and you have received a confirmation email, you need to print the "Visa Application Certificate" and submit it to the Visa Center with the following materials.

a. Original passport;

b. Other supporting materials required in the email notification.

(5) Other application steps and requirements remain unchanged (such as fingerprint collection, payment and evidence collection).
