Do I have to apply for a visa in person?
After 4th of december 2017, Applicant at the age of 14 to 70 years old must submit visa documents and leave fingerprint at the center in person. If you have submitted the visa application as well as fingerprint in person, you can apply your visa via travel agency or others can apply for you in 5 years time.
To further facilitate visa applications, from 2 September 2024 to 31 December 2025, fingerprint collection will be exempted for all short-term visa applicants (staying for less than 180 days) who apply for one or two entries at the Chinese visa authorities in Sweden. The applicant who apply for one or two entries short-term visa can lodge the application by mail.
