STEP 2: Submitting Documents to the Visa Centre after Online Approval (No Appointment Required)
Special Reminder: Applicants for diplomatic, official, courtesy, and other visas are still requested to submit their applications at the Chinese Embassy In New Delhi.
Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports are exempt from transfer service fees.
Application Procedure
1. Submitting Documents to the Visa Centre
Bring the following documents (other documents may be requested on-site if necessary):
1) Visa Application Certificate (attachment in the approval email).
2) Original passport.
3) Recent photo if the one uploaded is deemed non-compliant.
4) Original kinship certificate or property title, if requested during online submission.
5) Barcoded document (TE Official Invitation/Invitation Verification) must be printed.
6) Applicants for visa types: S, Q, X, and Z must submit all necessary documents to the center and attend an interview at the embassy.
7)J visa applicants must submit the following documents and undergo an interview at the embassy:
*Visa application letter signed by their supervisors, including (journalist's name, date, location, and agreed upon assignment to China, general presentation, telephone and fax address of their institution).
*Invitation letter.
*Photocopy of professional ID card.
*Detailed visit program.
2. Payment
Applicants shall pay the service fees online before submitting the application online and the visa fee at Visa Centre with Cash and Demand Draft at the time of submitting documents to the Visa Centre
3. Applicants must submit their applications to the VFS within 15 days of receiving their confirmation letter.
