In order to provide
better service for Hong Kong/Macao SAR visa applicants, from May 1, 2019,
ordinary passport holders applying for visas for Hong Kong/Macao SAR of China
will be required to submit their applications at the China Visa Application
Service Center.
The specific
arrangements are as follows:

Submission and payment
of applications: 9:00-15:00,
Passport collection
for regular and express service: 9:00 to 16:00.

2. Processing time and
fees
(1) Processing time:
Visas normally can be collected on the fourth working day after applications submitted.
Express services are subject to approval by consular officers at an additional
charge. However, this processing time is for reference only. The processing
time will be extended if the case needs to be forwarded to the Government of
the HKSAR or the Government of the Macao SAR for approval.
(2) Fee collection:
China Visa Application Service Center will charge service fee in addition to
the visa fee and express fee, please click here or refer to the our website for the
specific fee standard.
3. Special notes
(1) Applications are
considered and approved by the Embassy, the Government of the HKSAR or the
Government of the Macao SAR. China Visa Application Service Center does not
participate in the approval process.
(2) For holders of
diplomatic and service (official) passports, ordinary passport holders applying
for diplomatic, official and courtesy visas, and Chinese citizens who apply for
entry permit to Hong Kong SAR, will still submit their applications directly to
the Embassy (Address: Mythenquai 100/Seestrasse 161, 8002 Zürich; Working
hours: Monday to Friday, except weekends and holidays; Acceptance time:
9:00-12:00)
(3) Applicants may
apply for Hong Kong/Macao SAR visas through the China Visa Application Service
Center. Or alternatively, apply directly to the Immigration Department of the
Hong Kong SAR Government or the Public Security Police Force of the Macao SAR
Government.
