The People's Republic of China currently maintais one Embassy in Ottawa, but also maintains 4 consulates-general in the following Canada cities: Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB; Toronto, ON; Montreal, QC. Please be advised that sending your visa applicaion or document to the incorrect CVASC may result in complication or delay in processing or even denial of application.

Consular district of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Canada:
Ottawa Region, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Nunavut.

Applicants accepted by the Visa Centre:
The Visa Centre accepts visa applications from Canadian citizens or citizens of other countries staying in the consular district of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Canada with legal residence status (permanent resident card, work permit or study visa). Applications from other provinces or areas of Canada or countries/areas other than Canada are not accepted.
