1、Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) accepts Chinese visa applications from Japanese citizens and other foreigners holding ordinary passports at Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya offices respectively.  

In order to further strengthen the prevention and control over the coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the guidelines issued by the Japanese government and the current situation, CVASC has taken necessary measures including staff rotation shifting, temperature checks before on duty,,and twice-daily disinfection measures. The Opening hours may be adjusted accordingly,  please be sure to check the important notice at CVASC.

2、According to Chinese laws and regulations, Chinese Embassy and Consulates abroad should review all submitted applications and Approve/Reject the application. The Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Japan have always adopted rigorous and objective attitudes to review the factual purpose of your visit to China, and verify the validation of your documents. Please be noted that the review time varies according to the specific application. Under the current circumstances, please be aware that the process may be extended.

3、CAUTION. Concerning the current situation of the COVID-19, we would like to kindly remind the visa applicants that in order to protect your health and safety, it is advisable to postpone your application if you have no urgent needs. If you do need to apply for a visa, please complete the application form truthfully and submit the correct and valid documents. Please be noted that you may need to submit supplementary documents  or wait for further  notification upon the requirements of the consular officers. Please keep your patience.
