Notice of Strasbourg Chinese Visa Centre opening

        China’s rapid opening up in recent years, amid the ongoing globalization process, has led a remarkable increase in the demand for Chinese visas. In January 2011, the first Chinese visa application service center in France was established in Paris. In order to facilitate Chinese visa applicants in eastern France, We’ll set up a China Visa Application Service Center in Strasbourg, which will soon open on October 23, 2018. The Centre is a commercial service organization recognized by Chinese Consulate-General to handle the daily routine work of processing ordinary visa applications, such as to collect visa fees, deliver the passport and visa to the applicant.  In order to provide applicants with a welcoming environment and easy access, the Visa Centre is located in top-grade commercial buildings in convenient locations.

        The services provided by the China Visa Application Service Center are:

The Visa Centre have their own websites providing up-to-date online information, online consultation,  online form completion and online visa application status query services.

In order to ensure efficient application processing and promote quality service, the Visa Centre uses an online appointment system and queuing ticket machines installed in their reception areas. This arrangement well reduces your waiting time in the center.

The center accepts bank card payment.

        The Centre is operated by China Bridge, which is legally registered in France and its operation conforms strictly with the relevant laws of France. It will take measures to protect the personal information of applicants in strict accordance with relevant French laws. In order to ensure the  operation of the China Visa Application Center, the center will charge the applicant a service fee at the published price.

        After the opening of the China Visa Application Center, holders of diplomatic or official (official) passports, or applying for diplomatic visas, official visas, courtesy visas, R visas and Hong Kong and Macao visas, please submit your application directly to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate.**

        The China Visa Application Service Center does not participate in the Chinese visa approval process. Chinese embassies and consulates decide whether to issue visa, visa type and validity, duration of stay and number of entries in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations. The Chinese Embassy or Consulate has the right to request additional documents or request the applicant for an interview. From October 23, 2018, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Strasbourg will no longer accept visa applications (except **). But the applicants have submitted their applications to the Chinese Consulate General in Strasbourg before 23 October 2018, should collect their passports at the Consulate General of Strasbourg.
