* F visa : to those who intend to go to China for exchanges, visits, study tours and other activities
* L visa : to those who intend to go to China as a tourist
* M visa : to those who intend to go to China for commercial and trade activities
* Q visa : to those who are family members of Chinese citizens or of foreigners with Chinese permanent residence and intend to go to China mainland for a long-term family reunion(Q1) or Short-term Family Visit (Q2)
* S visa : to those who are family members of foreigners working in China Mainland and intend to go to China Mainland for a long-term family visit (S1) or Short-term Family Visit (S2)
* X visa : to those who intend to who intend to study in China Long-term (X1-Visa, more than 180 days)/ Short-term (X2-Visa, no more than 180 days)
* Z visa : to those who intend to work in China Mainland
