Notice on the Launch of Online Application and Appointment for Chinese Visa

            To provide visa applicants with standard and quality services, in accordance with the unified deployment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R.C, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Ho Chi Minh City will initiate the Online Visa Application and Appointment System from May 10th ,2021.


The specific arrangements are as follows:


1. From May 10th, visa applicants are required to log on https://bio.visaforchina.org/SGN2_EN/  and fill in the visa application form online. After completing the form online, you may enter the visa appointment and “Start to book appointment”, or afterwards log on same as above website, enter your personal information and Application ID number to make an appointment for visa application.

All visa applicants are require to fill in the visa application form online and make an appointment online via above website. After making an appointment, applicants are required to submit passports and other supporting documents to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Ho Chi Minh City with the printed complete Application form and signed Confirmation of Online Visa Application as per scheduled appointment.


2. To ensure the smooth transition to the online application and appointment, from May 10th to June 9th, the applicants may still submit the old version paper application forms (FormV.2013) without online appointment. Starting from June 10th ,2021,  the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Ho Chi Minh City will no longer accept old version paper Application form(FormV.2013) and will strictly implement the online application and appointment.


3. Important information :

(1) Applicants are required to upload photos of themselves that meet the photo requirements of the Chinese visa application, and fill out the visa application form truthfully, completely, and clearly. If personal information such as name, gender, date of birth, passport number, passport issuing country… is incorrectly filled out, or the uploaded photo is not your own, or some key information you filled out is suspected of being concealed intentionally or not taken seriously, the application will not be accepted or will be returned. Applicants will need to submit a new application form online and schedule a new appointment again.

(2) In addition to the above-mentioned circumstances, for minor errors and omissions, you can communicate with the receptionist at the front desk. After verifying relevant information, applicants will manually modify the confirmation page and the visa application form, and have to sign in the form to confirm the modification.

 (3) The visa application for Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions of China will remain unchanged, and there is no need for online visa application and appointment.
