From August 5, 2020, The Chinese Visa Application Service Center (Ho Chi Minh City) will resume the operation and process the following 4 types of visa applications:

 1. Emergency humanitarianism. Foreign nationals coming to China for funerals or visit critically ill relatives including spouses, parents, grandparents, grandchildren.

2. Family reunion. The spouse and minor children (under 18 years old) of Chinese citizens, or the spouse and minor children (under 18 years old) of foreigners who have permanent residence status in China.

3. Persons who go to China to take care of and support Chinese parents, and their spouses and minor children (under 18 years old).

4. Coming to China for trade or technological activities. Holders of invitation letters issued by the Foreign Affairs Office of China's provincial local governments or the Department of Commerce or other units, and their spouses and minor children (under 18 years old).
