Must I come in person for fingerprint when I submit my visa application?

Yes. Please be aware that the visa centres in Malaysia will take a site photograph and capture the fingerprints for each applicant who are aged between 14 to 70 when applicants submitting their applications at the Visa Application Centre. Visitors to China whose fingerprints and photo do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences.

In accordance with the notification issued by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre ('Visa Centre') will use a new version of the Chinese visa application form, and will implement an online application form and appointment system. The old version of the visa application form will no longer be accepted. All applicants aged between 14 and 70 inclusive must register their fingerprints in person at the Visa application Centre. A photo will be taken by the Visa Centre staff at the same time.
