Notice on Online Application and Appointment Service

In accordance with the instructions from the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Chinese Visa Application Service Center will only accept online application form and online appointment from August 1st 2020. The visa application is limited to crew, business, scientific and technical activities, and humanitarian reasons. Please refer to Notice on Partially Reopening Service for details.

If you choose to submit your application in NagoyaCenter, please follow the process as below.

1. Visit Chinese Visa Application Service Center’s website and select “ Asia-Japan-Nagoya” , and complete the online application form as required.

2. You can also visit Chinese Visa Application Service Center’s website and select Nagoya, Japan , and enter the website of NagoyaCenter to complete the online application form and make an appointment.

3. On the homepage you will find ‘How to apply’ and please read the requirements and information when clicking ‘Step by Step Guidance’.

4. Click ‘Quick Access’ and select ‘Online Application Form’ to fill out application form online. This step requires you upload a digital color photo with white background taken within 6 months (please Click here for photo requirements).

5. After filling out the online application form, please print it out and sign on the confirmation page and the 8th page of the form

6. Click ‘Quick Access’ and select ‘Online Application Form’ to fill in the application form number. The application form number starting with ‘NGO’ will be generated automatically. Please choose a available shcedlue to complete the online appointment. The system will send a confirmation letter to your registered email. Please print the confirmation email out or screenshot the appointment information and show it when visiting Chinese Visa Application Service Center. 1 appointment number is available for 5 application form numbers. Please make sure to fill in all the application form numbers if you have more than 1 applicant. Chinese Visa Application Service Center will not accept the application without appointment or application number.

Attentions：

1. The online application form is available in Chinese and English.

2. From August 1st to 31st 2020 is the transitional period. You can still submit the printed application form of old version but you need to make appointment in advance by phone call (03-35995515) or email (nagoyacenter@visaforchina.org).

3. After September 1st 2020, all the applicants must make online appointment before visiting our office. The visa center will only accept online appointment and online application form. And the old version of application form will not be accepted. Therefore, we suggest you schedule your travel plan and make online appointment beforehand to avoid inconvenience may occured.

4. The Chinese Visa Application Service Center does not accept application for diplomatic, service or courtesy visas.

5. Please make sure to upload the right photo. If the photo turns out to be somebody else’ s, the application will be rejected. The applicant will be required to refill in the online application form and upload his or her own photo. If you fail to upload your photo, please submit a photo when visiting our office.

6. All the information provided in the application form must be real and correct , otherwise the application will be rejected.

7. Please visit our office on time, or the appointment will be cancelled.
