The Chinese Visa Application Service Center Medan has launched a new website of online application form and appointment system. Please note that as of 1st August 2020, ONLY the new online application form with an appointment will be accepted at our center.

Ⅰ. Please follow the procedures to fill in the online form and make an appointment FOR VISA APPLICATIONS:

1. Please make sure you will apply at our center in Medan.

2. Go to ‘Step by Step Guidance’ for details of visa application process and requirements.

3. Make a Application Form: Go back to the homepage and select Quick Access – Visa; you will see New Application Form and Appointment (Application).

-  Click the New Application Form, choose the location (city) of the Application Center where you will submit your application. Make sure to choose the correct location as the form that you fill, can only be used at your chosen area. Please fill in your detailed and real information, follow by printing out the Confirmation Page and all the form pages after you finish it. An application form number bar code is printed at the top right corner of every page.

- Please sign on the Confirmation Page and the 8th Page of the visa application form. A complete visa application form is at least 9 pages including the Confirmation Page.

- In this step, you are required to upload a recently taken standard passport photo with a white background. Please find the photo requirements here. We cannot process your application if you fail to upload your latest valid photo.

Ⅱ. Please be advised:

1. Every applicant should complete the application form with correct and real information, and will take full legal responsibility for the authenticity. Any false or incomplete information provided by the applicant, or any use of somebody else’s photo, will be considered as fraud and will result in visa rejection or refusal of entry.

2. Applicants holding service or diplomatic passports should fill in the online application form through our website. Please bring the complete signed form and other required documents to apply at the Chinese Consulate.
