Do I have to make an appointment to apply for a visa?

In order to further facilitate the application of visa to China by foreign citizens, the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Medan will implement appointment-free visa application starting from October 23, 2023. Applicants may submit ordinary visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in medan without appointment.

Payment and collection 09:00-16:00

Note: Regular visa processing time needs four working days. We also provide

     express service.

     For express service,applications must be submitted between09:00-12:00

       and collected at 15:00-16:00 on the third working day.
