As of April 19, 2022, the consular legalization applications of non-Chinese nationals residing in the consular district of the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos should be submitted to the China Visa Application Center in Lagos (hereinafter referred as 'Visa Application Center’).

Consular legalization applications filed by Chinese nationals can be submitted either directly to the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos, or to the Visa Application Center which charges a service fee in addition to the legalization fee.
