1. Pakistani citizen should obtain a visa if the purpose of visit is to visit, work, study, establish or join in any business or to take up residence in the HKSAR before traveling to HKSAR.

2. How to apply for visa for Hong Kong SAR of China?

A. You may submit your application in person to Chinese visa application service center (hereafter refered as Visa Center), your application will be forwarded to the Immigration Department of HKSAR Government for processing. You may also submit your application directly to the Immigration Department of HKSAR Government by mailing your material.

B. Follow the guidelines for visa for Hong Kong SAR of China and prepare required supporting documents with your application. (For specific information please log into HK Immigration Department of HKSAR Government website: https://www.immd.gov.hk/ )

C. Processing time: If your application is forwarded to HK Immigration Department for processing, it would take one month or even longer to process visa application.

D. Fees and payments: If you apply through the Visa Center, you are required to pay Rs3000 for visa fee as well as the communication fee of Rs2000, once the visa is approved. The above mentioned fee will be charged by Visa Center on behalf of Chinese Embassy. You have to pay additional service fee (please check the visa fee schedule for details of service fee to the Visa Center). Otherwise, you must pay directly to HKSAR Government as instructed.
