Updated Macao Visa Application Guidelines (2023.11.16)
1. Application time: Tuesday to Thursday (9:00-14:00)
2. Application Process: Submit the documents to the visa center at the time of application, and the visa will be issued within 15-30 working days after the documents are reviewed and approved.
3. Application documents to be submitted according to purpose of visit:
A. For the purpose of work:
1. Macao visa application form, with two 1.5-inch color photos attached;
2. The original and copy of valid passport;
3. Authorization to stay for Non-resident workers or renewal of authorization to stay (Work Permit);
B. For the purpose of stay as family of non- resident workers:
1. Macao visa application form, with two 1.5-inch color photos attached;
2. The original and copy of valid passport;
3. Special Authorization to Stay for non-resident worker's reuniting family;
4. Certificate of Kinship ( If the certificate is not in Chinese/English/Portuguese, then it should be translated into these language and should be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nepal)
5.Round trip air ticket booking (The departure date should be after 15-30 working days+ application submission date and returning date from Macao should not be more than 14 days from the arrival date in Macao)
6.Accommodation Documents (includes Bank Statement/water/electricity/phone/internet bill of 3 months ,of the relatives in Macao or Hotel Booking receipt),
7.Financial proof document (Balance confirmation of Macao with the international calendar which the period is within 1 month, with balance > 15000MOP)
C. For the purpose of tourist,emergency, business, official business or private affairs:
1. Macao visa application form, with two 1.5-inch color photos attached;
2. Original valid passport, photocopies of the first page and all used inner pages of the passport;
3. Proof of the purpose of visit;
4. Travel documents affixed with Macao entry and exit stamps (if any);
5. Valid entry visa or residence visa/permit of other countries or regions (if any);
6. Certificate of Kinship ( If the certificate is not in Chinese/English/Portuguese, then it should be translated into these language and should be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nepal)
7.Round trip air ticket booking (The departure date should be after 15-30 working days+ application submission date and returning date from Macao should not be more than 14 days from the arrival date in Macao)
8.Accommodation Documents (includes Bank Statement/water/electricity/phone/internet bill of 1 month transaction within 3 months ,of the relatives in Macao or Hotel booking receipt)
9.Financial proof document (Balance confirmation of Macao with the international calendar which the period is within 1 month, with balance > 15000MOP)
D. For the purpose of study at a higher institute:
1. Macao visa application form, with two 1.5-inch color photos attached;
2. The original and copy of valid passport;
3. Documents of financial status (e.g.Balance confirmation of Macao with the international calendar which the period is within 1 month, with balance > 15000MOP));
4. Admission documents issued by a higher institute in Macao;
5. Reservation documents of return flight ( if the program taken by the student lasts for less than 6 months);
4. Application Fee:
The visa application fee is Rs 9,400 per applicant in total, which includes the visa fee Rs 3,300, the visa service fee Rs 3,900 , and the visa contact fee Rs 2,200.
5. Attentions
A. Validity of Macao Visa
(1) Valid for 1 entry within 3 months, 14 days of stay per entry;
(2) Valid for 2 entry within 3 months, 14 days of stay per entry;
(3) Valid for multiple entries within 6 months, 14 days of stay per entry.
B. Please fill the visa application form truthfully, clearly and completely. False filling, missing filling or unclear handwriting may lead to delays in visa approval and even visa refusal.
C. Visa officers will make visa decisions on individuals cases.
