To further facilitate foreign citizens to apply for visas to China, from November 24, 2023, the Embassy and Consulates General of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia will cancel the online appointment for China visa application. Applicants can walk in the China Visa Application Service Centre(CVASC) in Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Penang or the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu without online appointment to apply for visas with relevant documents. Please follow the application steps below:
1. Fill out the visa application form online (https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn), download and print out the full application form(7 pages in total, preferable double sided), and sign the confirmation page.
2. Visit the visa office near you to submit physical visa application documents in person.
Kind reminders: After cancellation of online appointment, there might be more applicants on-site during peak hours. Applicants are recommended to arrange their time for submission according to their travel schedule. Upon entering the visa office, please follow the instructions of the staff for security screening and queue number pickup. Applicants who have completed online appointments before will be given priority for submitting their documents within the corresponding time slot at the appointment date by presenting the appointment confirmation page upon arrival.
