Notice of Reducing Legalization Fee for Chinese Citizens
Effective on 9 March 2018, Consular Office of the Chinese Consulate General will reduce the fee of legalization (Regular applications) for Chinese citizens. New fee for legalization (civil affairs) and legalization (commercial affairs) are RM31/copy and RM62/copy respectively. The fee for Rush and Express applications remained unchanged.
Simultaneously, Chinese Visa Application Service Center kuching will reduce the application service fee of legalization (Regular applications) for Chinese citizens. New application service fee for legalization (civil affairs) and legalization (commercial affairs) are RM32.9/copy (included GST) and RM65.7/copy (included GST) respectively. The application service fee for Rush and Express application remained unchanged.

According to the above notice, “Chinese Citizen” refers the individual applying legalization of foreign documents. The above notice is applicable to a registered company in China (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) but not applicable to the Chinese citizen authorized by foreign citizen submitting the legalization application.
