Notice on Visa Facilitation for Applicants Inoculated with COVID-19 Vaccines Produced in China

    For the purpose of resuming people to people exchanges between China and other countries in an orderly manner,  starting from 

15 March 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Turkey/ Chinese Consulate General in Istanbul will introduce the following facilitating measures 

for visa applicants who have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines produced in China and obtained the vaccination certificate from 

Turkish Ministry of Health:

    1.Foreign nationals and their family members visiting the mainland of China for resuming work and production in 

various fields(such as employment, trading, visits, etc.) no longer need to provide extra documents other than those required before the COVID 19 pandemic when applying for a visa. For the relevant application materials, please refer to the official website of the Chinese Embassy in 

Turkey or the Consulate General in Istanbul.

    2.The scope of applicants eligible for applying visa due to emergency humanitarian needs will be expanded as appropriate. Foreign family 

members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents of China, including spouse, parents, children and other close relatives living together 

(referring to siblings, grandparents and grandchildren), may submit visa applications for the purposes of family reunion, taking care of the 

elderly, visiting relatives, attending funerals or visiting critically ill relatives.

    Requirements on China-bound passengers to obtain negative results of both nucleic acid and IgM antibody tests  remain unchanged. 

    After entering China, please abide by the relevant official regulations on quarantine and medical observation.
