FW:Notice on the Adjustment of Requirements for Chinese Visa Application

Starting from 8 January 2023, the Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office would adapt the following requirements for applying for a visa to the Mainland of China:

1.Foreign nationals who subject to mutual visa exemption agreements, or holding valid APEC Business Cards (Virtual ABTC  excepted), all kinds of valid residence permits, valid foreign permit ID card, or under the 24-hour Transit Visa Exemption Program are allowed to enter the Mainland of China with no need to apply for new visas.

Please contact the immigration inspection agencies of the intended destination for the application of the 72 and 144-hour Transit Visa Exemption Program.

2.The Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office would accept  visa applicants as before the COVID-19 Pandemic (tourism and medical reasons excepted), including Long Term Multiple Entry Visa.
