As of 1st March,2023, the consular legalization applications certified by the Consular Department, Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affair can submit application to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Ha Noi or Da Nang(hereinafter referred as 'Visa Application Center’). The details are as follows:
1．Office hours
Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Application submission and payment: 9:00 – 15:00
Collection: 9:00 – 15:00
2．Processing time (in the case that all the required documents are provided)
Regular service: The processing time is usually 4 working days(The processing time in Da Nang needs to be usually 7 working days,without express and urgent services)
Express service: The processing time is usually 3 working days
Urgent special service: The processing time is usually 2 working days
（Express and urgent service must be approved by the embassy consular officer）
* The consular officer reserves the right to require the applicant to provide additional supporting documents, or to take an interview at the Embassy. The processing time may consequently be longer.
3. Fees
In addition to the legalization fee collected on behalf of the Chinese Embassy, the Visa Application Center will also charge a service fee. Please click here for Schedule of fees.
4. Important notice
⑴ Click here for the link of legalization application form. The embassy recommends that the application form be filled and printed. If the application form is filled by hand-writing, the font must be clear and neat. Scanned copies are not accepted. The legalization application forms must be signed by the applicant in person at the Signature of applicant. If the applicant entrusts an agent to submit the application on his/her behalf, the applicant and the agent need to sign respectively at the Signature of applicant and at the Signature of agent.
⑵ The Visa Application Center is only responsible for the handling of application submissions. The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam oversees the process of decision-making.
