According to the notice from the Chinese Consulate in Hamburg, from August 26, 2024, applicants need to log on to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center website www.visaforchina.cn , fill out the online visa application form and upload the documents to apply for a visa. Application forms completed before August 23 (inclusive) will no longer be used.

Special reminder: Before submitting the application documents together with your passport at the Visa Center you have to ensure that the application status shows „Submit Passport“ and you have received a confirmation email. Please print the „Visa Application Certificate“ when submitting the visa application.
