Is it permitted for someone else to submit my application to the Visa Centre on my behalf?

According to the requirements of the Chinese Embassy and Consulate General, all applicants aged between 14 and 70 inclusive need to come to the Visa Center in person to submit their application and their fingerprints will be collected. If you want to entrust someone else to do so, the entrusted person will be responsible to confirm with you about the submission and the fingerprint collection. From the 15th July all applicants aged between 14 and 70 must register their fingerprints in person at the Visa application Centre. A photo will be taken by the visa center staff at the same time. Applicants who forge fingerprints or use other people’s fingerprints and photos may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences. Visitors to China whose fingerprints and photo do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences.
