In order to better control the spread of COVID-19 as part of the resumption of international travel, all passengers wishing to travel to China must take a COVID-19 virological test (RT-PCR) before departure and request a certified statement by the Chinese Embassy.
The concrete arrangements are as follows:
For passengers outside Chinese nationalities bound for China, they must undergo a COVID-19 virological test (RT-PCR) in one of the institutions: INRB (Kinshasa) / CMK Hospital (Kinshasa) / DIAMANT Hospital (Kinshasa and Lubumbashi)) / Congo Chinese Hospital RUI CHEN (Lubumbashi and Kolwezi) / TAI WA Likasi Medical Center DRC
Passengers are then requested to email the Chinese Embassy in the DRC (email address: consulate_cod@mfa.gov.cn) the following documents:
I. The biographical information page of their valid passport;
II. Their medical attestation to the negative result of the virological test (RT-PCR) within 72 hours before the last stopover to China;
III. The signed and dated health declaration (form found at the China VFS Visa Center).
It is strongly recommended to title the email in the following form: HS + passenger name + date of departure. Once validated, the declaration will be sealed and emailed back to passengers within 24 hours. They must print it and carry it with them throughout their journey to China. They must also board the plane during the validity of the said declaration and show it to the crew before boarding.
