1. Payment methods

Edinburgh Visa Centre accepts POUND in cash or by debit card.

(1) Payment methods: starting in May 2018, all applicants need to make the payment of all fees when lodging visa application at Edinburgh Visa Centre. Fees will not be refunded should the visa applciation be declined or refused by the Chinese Embassy or Consulates.

(2) If you request to have the passports returened by post while lodging the application at the counter, you  must make the payment of visa fee and service fee right after your application is accepted. Please also provide a prepaid, traceable envelope with asigned receiving address when submitting (extra charge will occur if the visa centre provides you with the envelope). 
Meanwhile you should fill in the Payment Authorization Form in advance(Please fill in the same debit card information which you make payment at counter), just in case the Visa Centre needs to charge or refund fees from/to your debit card. You don't need to come to the Visa Centre again for this reason.

Belfast Visa Office

1.  Payment methods

(1) Payment methods: Belfast Visa Office keeps the pre-charge mode. Applicants should pay visa fee and service fee when submitting the visa application.

(2) Belfast Visa Office only accepts POUND by debit card. Because the visa office only processes applications submitted in person and returned by post, please provide a prepaid, traceable envelope with assigned receiving address when submitting (extra charge will occur if the visa office provides you with the envelope).
