In order to further facilitate people-to-people exchanges between China and South Africa, as of 20 November 2023, applicants may submit their visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers in Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town without appointment during working hours.

To ensure smooth application, please kindly be noted that:

1. Please log in to the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center(https://www.visaforchina.cn/globle/)and choose the relevant Visa Center, complete the online application form fully and accurately. Then print the whole form in advance for on-site submission. Applicants are required to sign on the confirmation page and the last page of the application form.

2. Applicants are also required to submit the application form and the relevant documents to the Visa Center on site. The processing time and visa fees remain unchanged. Meanwhile, applicants can still apply for Express service and pay accordingly.

3. Pick hours are from 10:00 am to 13:30 pm each working day. Applicants are encouraged to make reasonable arrangements and submit the documents off-peak based on the needs.

4. Applicants who have made an appointment can come to the visa center to submit their application at any time during working hours starting from November 20. If you submit your application at the visa center on the scheduled date, we will still give priority to your application.
