Beginning from Sep. 28th 2018, all ordinary passport holders visiting mainland China are required to submit their visa applications at the Chinese Visa Application Center (CVAC) in Banjul.
Holders of diplomatic or service (official) passport, or applicants qualified for the Chinese diplomatic, courtesy, service visas, or applicants applying for Hong Kong SAR or Macao SAR visa/entry permits may still submit their applications directly to the Chinese Embassy in Senegal.
In addition to collecting a basic visa fee, and express processing fee (where applicable) on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Senegal, CVAC will also charge an independent service fee.
CVAC will be operating on a trial basis on Sep. 26th. In that day, no service fees will be charged .
