Beginning from Sep. 27th 2018, all ordinary passport holders visiting mainland China are required to submit their visa applications at the Chinese Visa Application Center (CVAC) in Dakar. 
Holders of diplomatic or service (official) passport, or applicants qualified for the Chinese diplomatic, courtesy, service visas, or applicants applying for Hong Kong SAR or Macao SAR visa/entry permits may still submit their applications directly to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General.

In addition to collecting a basic visa fee, and express processing fee (where applicable) on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Senegal, CVAC will also charge an independent service fee.

CVAC will be operating on a trial basis starting from Sep. 24th through the end of Sep. 25th. During this trial period, no service fees will be charged and our visa center does not provide express service. 

Attention:
Beginning from Sep. 27th 2018, CVAC will start the appointment service on website (www.visaforchina.org). All applicants are required to make an appointment in advance and come to CVAC for application on time, or appointment and application will not be accepted.  On Sep. 26th, 2018, our visa center will be close for one day.
