In accordance with Chinese laws and regulations and
international common practice, the Chinese Embassy, Consulates and the Chinese
Visa Application Service Centers in the Kingdom of Thailand will collect 10
fingerprints of all Chinese visa applicants starting from January 11,2021. All
Visa applicants are required to submit the application documents and have their
fingerprints collected in person at the Chinese Embassy, Consulates or Chinese
Visa Application Service Center at the time of their appointment after filling
in the online electronic application forms and booking the appointment at https://visaforchina.org.
Please be noted that fingerprints collection is not
required for:
I. Children under 14 years old and adults over 70 years
old;
II. Diplomatic Passport Holders and diplomatic,official
and courtesy visa applicants.
III.Applicants holding the same passports whose
fingerprints have been collected at the same Chinese Embassy, Consulates or the
Chinese Visa Application Service Centers within five years.
Please be informed that all applicants should have their
fingerprints collected in person at the Chinese Embassy, Consulates or the
Chinese Visa Application Service Centers. Visitors to China whose fingerprints
do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences.
In addition, According to the important notice released
by the Chinese Embassy on April 5,2020, the Chinese Visa Application Service
Center in Chiangmai was temporally closed to the public due to the COVID-19
pandemic. For necessary economic, trade, science and technology activities,or
emergency humanitarian needs, please contact the Chinese Visa Application
