According to the notice of Chinese embassy in Egypt, passengers flying from Egypt to China are required to take “cross double tests”for COVID-19and apply for Green Health Code with the “HS” mark (for Chinese citizens only) or Green Code of Health Declaration Form with “HDC” mark (for non-Chinese citizens) within 48 hours before departure. The following points are for your reference:

I. From 8 January 2021 on, passengers must take nucleic acid and IgM serum antibody tests in two different institutions designated by Chinese Embassy respectively.

2.The embassy will only accept test results from the following designated institutions:

(1)Central Public Health Laboritaries

(2)Om Elnor Hospital

(3)Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University

3.ThePhotosof passenger being sampledare required to be taken on site.

4.The double tests reports should include Pharyngeal swab and Nasopharyngeal swab. The IgM antibody test must be performed using serum of venous blood samples. Other testing methods such finger-prick blood sampling shall not be accepted by Chinese Embassy.

5.Cross doublenegative tests results should be uploaded immediately after being received to apply for HS or HDC green code, together with the sampling photos of the passenger and the information page of the passport.

6. Application should be submitted at least 4 hours before departure. Late applications will not be processed.All the submitted documents will be verified.
