In accordance with relevant notifications, from March 14, 2024 to November 30, 2024, the People's Republic of China will implement a unilateral visa exemption policy for ordinary passport holders from Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This policy applies exclusively to individuals holding ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries and whose purpose of visit is business, tourism, family visits, and transit, with a stay not exceeding 15 days.

Please be informed that individuals who do not meet the visa exemption  policy are required to apply for a visa through the usual channels before planning their travel to China.

We kindly remind all travelers planning to visit China to carefully check whether they meet the visa exemption conditions to ensure a smooth journey.
