Notice on providing convenience to visa applicants who have been vaccinated with the new crown pneumonia vaccine produced in China
In
order to resume people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries
in an orderly manner, starting from March 15, 2021, the Chinese Embassy and
Consulate in Switzerland will provide the following conveniences to visa
applicants who have been vaccinated with the new crown pneumonia vaccine
produced in China and hold the vaccination certificate:
1. Passengers
going to China engaging in activities necessary to resume work and resume
production in various fields as well as the family members can prepare
materials and submit applications according to the requirements before the
pandemic.
2.
Appropriately expand the scope of visa issuance for people coming to China for
"emergency humanitarian needs." Applicable for: foreign family
members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents, including spouses, parents,
children and other close relatives living together (referring to siblings,
grandparents and grandchildren). Reasons for coming to China: family reunion,
support, visiting relatives, for funerals or visiting critically ill relatives.
Those who meet the above conditions can submit an application.
3. Passengers
holding a valid APEC business travel card can apply for a business visa to the
Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Switzerland with a valid APEC business travel
card and an invitation letter issued by an inviting unit in China.
Passengers
travelling to China on flights must present a double-negative certificate for
the NAT and serum IgM antibody test remains unchanged. After entering into
China, passengers should abide by the relevant Chinese regulations on isolation
and observation.
