but can deliver visas as normal.

Dear applicants,

Our website will be updated on August 12, 2024. Please do not fill in and submit the application form between 0:00 on August 11, 2024 and 17:00 on August 12, 2024. In case of submission, the form will be unusable. If you need to submit a form, please complete it before 22:00 on August 10, 2024.

Starting from 17:00 on August 12, 2024，our center's website will be updated to a new address. Please fill in the application form according to the link on our new website.

Notice

1. There is no need to make an appointment online to apply for Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Bern, but you need to submit the Application Form online. when you came to the Visa Center, please bring two of the same photos as the Application Form.

2.We only accept two-way postal visa services for those who have submitted their fingerprints at the Bern visa center since 2021.

The following categories of applicants are exempt from the aforementioned requirements:
1. Applicants under the age of 14 or over the age of 70;
2. Applicants are applying for a new Chinese visa and have already been fingerprinted during a Chinese visa application within the last five years at the same Chinese Embassy, Consulate General (same Visa Application Service Center) using the same passports.

Applicants are advised that from 8 August 2023 until 31 December 2024, applications for Business(M)，Tourism(L), Family Visit(Q2), Transit(G), Crew Member(C), Visas(1 or 2 entries) are exempt from fingerprint collection.
