The processing time of visa applications submitted in Belfast Visa Centre is about 6 - 8 working days. By necessity, please directly contact the Edinburgh Chinese Visa Application Service Centre to submit the express service application.

 We kindly remind you that:
1. Belfast Visa Centre only accepts POUND by debit card.
2. Because the visa centre only processes applications submitted in person and returned by post, please provide a prepaid, traceable envelop with assigned receiving address when submitting.
3. If you are dual-nationality, please provide the original and photocopies of the passports of both two countries.
4. In accordance with the notification issued by the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in the UK, starting from 10^th December 2018, the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast (hereinafter referred to as 'Visa Application Centres') would use a new version of the Chinese visa application form, and from the 17^th December 2018 the Visa Application Centres implemented an online application form and appointment system. When applicants submitting their applications at the Visa Application Centre, we will also be required to take a photograph and capture fingerprints for each applicant(Children under 14 years old and adults over 70 years old are not required for fingerprints).

If you choose to submit your application for a Chinese visa in the visa centre in Belfast, please read the steps illustrated below carefully: 
(1) Navigate to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre’s website(www.visaforchina.cn), and select UK, Belfast in order to arrive at the Belfast Centre’s homepage. 
(2) Read the specific ‘ Step by Step Guidance ’ section’s information regarding your particular purpose of visit and your visa requirements. 
(3) Enter the ‘Quick Access’ section from the homepage, and then select 'New application form'to fill in your application form online. The online application form will require you to upload a recent standard photograph (please check here for photograph requirements). 
(4) After filling in the application form, please print out the completed form, sign on the 1^st and the 8^th page.
(5) Enter the ‘Quick Access’ section from the homepage and click ‘Appointment’ to book appointment. Please fill in the application form number which is automatically generated and is started with ‘BFS’. Choose a time slot and finish the appointment booking. Please download and print out  the 'Reservation Form' and show your appointment while you arrive at Belfast Visa Application Centre.
