From 2 September 2024 until 31 December 2025 all visa applications for single or double entries(within 180 days) are exempt from fingerprinting to further simplify the visa application process.

Based on a note from the Chinese Embassy in Germany, from 26 August 2024 all  applicants have to fill the application form online on the website www.visaforchina.cn and upload all necessary documents online. Application forms generated before 23 August 2024 will no longer be accepted

Please note: Before submitting the application documents together with your passport at the Visa Center you have to ensure that the application status shows „Approved“ and you have received a confirmation email. Please print the „Visa Application Certificate“ when submitting the visa application.
