Important Note

1.Based on a note from the Chinese Embassy in GREECE , from 31 March 2025 all  applicants are required to visit the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Greece, creat/sign in your account, and then click My account to fill the application form and upload all necessary documents online. Detailed information regarding the application process,please click   Here .

 Please note: Before submitting the application documents and passport at the Visa Center, please ensure that the your application status is“Approved” and you have received a confirmation email.

2. From 0:00(Beijing time) on November 30, 2024 to 24:00 (Beijing time) on December 31, 2025, the Chinese government will expand its visa free policy for Greek citizens holding ordinary passport who enter China for business(M）, tourism（L）, family reunion（Q2、S2）, transit（G） and exchange&visit purposes（F）, and the duration of visa-free stay will be extended to 30 days.

Από 0:00 (ώρα Πεκίνου), στις 30 Νοεμβρίου 2024 έως τις 24:00 (ώρα Πεκίνου) στις 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2025, η Κινεζική κυβέρνηση θα επεκτείνει την πολιτική ελεύθερης εισόδου για Έλληνες πολίτες κατόχους κοινού διαβατηρίου που εισέρχονται στην Κίνα για λόγους business, τουρισμού, οικογενειακής επανένωσης, transit και ανταλλαγών και το διάστημα παραμονής χωρίς υποχρέωση Θεώρησης επεκτείνεται στις 30 ημέρες.

3. From July 10th, 2024, the Chinese Embassy in Greece will issue 5-year multiple entry visas to eligible Greek citizens holding valid passports for business, tourism and family visits purposes in China.

5.  In order to further improve the efficiency of visa processing and facilitate personnel exchanges between China and Greece, starting from November 20, 2023, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center will cancel online visa appointments. Visa applicants do not need to make an appointment and can submit their applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Athens during working hours.
